Volunteering at the Waldorfschool in Windhoek

We will be supporting 12 children and young people from Aussenkehr, a settlement in southern Namibia, with a scholarship, enabling them to obtain a qualified school leaving certificate at the Waldorf School of Windhoek. As the children live far away from their home town in the boarding school, we would like to provide them with a person who will be their confidant and contact person for school and general organizational matters, who will give them...

We are looking for you –
Are you interested in Waldorf education and teaching assistance?
Do you enjoy working with children and young people aged 13 to 18 and
would you like to plan and carry out weekend activities with them?
Do you enjoy being on the go, organizing, and taking responsibility for yourself and others?
Do you enjoy communicating confidently in speech, writing, and images? Do you speak English?
Are you studying education, communication, intercultural studies, or similar? Do you have a driver's license?
 

What we offer –  
Free accommodation at the Waldorf School in Windhoek.
Work on weekends – with time off in lieu during the week.
Exchange with other volunteers on site.
